About Me

Hello, visitor!

Welcome to my very own storefront, where you can find all of my for-sale artwork pieces and inquire about my one-on-one art lessons. This website is a portal for my audience to find my original artwork, digital pieces, physical products, one-on-one art lessons, and a peek into my creative process through Patreon. I offer an approach to art as a form of self-love and pseudo-therapy.

I’ve been a self-taught artist for over 13 years, and my art journey started when I was in homeschool.

Homeschool is when my mom emphasized the importance of pursuing what you’re passionate about and making space for creative endeavors. In my pre-teens, I became obsessed with anime and fantasized about becoming an animator. So I started learning how to draw. I utilized online resources to learn as much as my tiny brain could absorb.

I was in Homeschool K-8th grade, after which I started attending public high school. This is where I was really able to grow and learn even more about art. It was in public school where my teachers noticed my passion and dedication to my crafts and placed me into advanced classes. During my junior and senior years, I was placed in AP art, where I continued to develop my creative skills. It is during these formative years where I truly learned how to explore and practice different mediums.

I decided to put my passion on the back burner for college so I could pursue my Bachelor's of Arts in psychology at a private military college in Vermont. The only "artistic" classes I took were senior year electives- the muscle memory kicked in and I also excelled in these classes. After graduating with my degree in psychology in 2023, I experienced the loss of a loved one, which pushed me into a deep depression for over half a year.

Through this grief, I found my love for art again after being so paralyzed with sadness. I would draw with Tombow markers on pressed paper while hours flew by. With each stroke, I was slowly healing the hole in my heart. Creating art turned my pain into passion.

Today, I am based in Chicago and, through my efforts, cultivate a curious and excited art community. Through this space I've made, I will connect directly with people who genuinely enjoy my artworks and want to push their vision beyond what they believe they can achieve. ;)

Over the past few years, people started to ask to buy my art, and over time, I realized I needed something that is a one-stop for everything I have to offer. Visionbeyond.store is my storefront, digital classroom, studio, and creative-driven community all in one.

In addition to sharing my own artwork, I offer one-on-one art lessons to help put your creative and artistic vision in action. In this digital age that tends to move quickly and indulges in instant gratification, making something with your own hands and brain will feel deeply personal, very grounding, and exciting.

My lessons are designed to be personalized and built around your artistic goals. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or exploring a new medium, each lesson includes an easy-to-follow, individualized plan tailored to your interests, pace, and creative vision. My goal is to help you build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the process of making art.

If you’d like to support my work and be part of my creative journey, you can join me on Patreon at any level: Lurker, Creative Maker, or Pupil. Every tier helps support future artwork, lessons, and creative projects while giving you a closer look behind the scenes of what I’m creating. No matter if you’re here to quietly follow along or create alongside me, I’m so grateful to have you here.

To be in my community you DO NOT need to make perfect art, create every day, or even call yourself an artist.

I truly believe in making things you LOVE. So even if you just want to experiment creatively, learn a new medium, collect art, or just make things for yourself to reconnect with your true feelings, I am excited to be a part of your journey while you join me on mine.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for visiting my website and supporting my work. We'll have an absolute hoot of a time!
